Hi. I’m Renae Bunster 👋 and I make things that taste pretty bloody good.

I started making hot sauces  in 2012, because back then good hot sauce didn't exist in Australia.
Now I also make flavoured vodkas, because the drinks I wanted also didn't exist.

It started with hot sauce...

Back in 2011, I went backpacking through Central America and fell completely in love with their delicious fresh hot sauces. 

When I got home to Perth, Western Australia I bought every hot sauce I could find. But they were all too salty, too vinegary, too sweet, too hot, too weak, too fake, or just another basic version of Tabasc-NO.

So I started making my own...

 Suddenly everyone I knew wanted a bottle. They started kicking down my door to buy it and before I knew it, legends from all over Australia were ordering it. 

Then the USA caught on...

In 2017, I sent a crap tonne of my sauce to America and “Shit the Bed” went viral. It became the number one best selling hot sauce on Amazon USA!?!? wtf?

A year later, my hottest sauce, Black Label, was picked to be on Hot Ones. It was the first non North-American sauce ever on the show! Natalie Portman and Jeff Goldblum loved it. That still blows my mind. Gordon Ramsay even loved it when he came down here to film a show in 2023.

So why the Vodkas?

One day I got sick of all the drinks in the bottle-o. I couldn't work out why there wasn't a no-dairy version of Baileys that was just as delicious? I wanted delicious, strong, versatile and easy to drink flavours. So I got to work.

I've learned so much about producing amazing products that I now work with creators to bring their drink ideas to life. Rather than having the usual wearable merch everyone has, I let creators come up with completely bespoke delicious alcoholic spirits. I take care of all the hard bits, while they get to invent it, design it and share it with their followers.
